The Governing Body has been elected by North West Surrey GPs to lead the CCG work.

Governing Body members bring their clinical knowledge and experience to the table to ensure the services we buy are clinically-focused and patient-centred.

Governing Body meetings

We hold regular Governing Body meetings in public, to which members of the public and local partners are invited to attend and observe.

Moving to Governing Bodies meetings in Common (meeting in public)

From September 2018, Guildford and Waverley, North West Surrey and Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Groups will be holding their Governing Body meetings ‘in common’. This means that the three Governing Body meetings will take place at the same time, in the same location, with the same or similar agendas.

Meeting in this way reflects closer working across the three CCGs and will help to align our governance arrangements and streamline decision-making. All three CCGs will have their own Governing Body membership and each CCG will make its own decisions to reflect that they are still three separate statutory organisations. We will rotate the venues for these meetings so we hold them in different locations across the three CCG areas and anyone who is interested in hearing about local health issues is very welcome to join us.

Future meetings

Governing Bodies in Common meeting – 25th March 2020

Due to the current situation relating to coronavirus (Covid-19) and Government advice about social distancing, the Governing Bodies in Common meeting on 25th March will now be taking place virtually via teleconference. In addition, because of leadership capacity in managing the current Covid-19 outbreak, the agenda will be short, focused primarily on our ongoing response to the current situation.

 Date  Time  Venue
 25 March 2020  2pm - 6pm  Details above.

If you have any special requirements to facilitate your attendance, please contact us.

Governing Body Membership Register of Interests
The CCG keeps a register of interests for the members of the Governing Body, in order to identify and manage any conflicts of interest that may arise in the course of decision making when undertaking CCG business. These registers are reviewed regularly and updated as necessary.

Governing Body Register of Interests can be accessed from latest Governing Body papers found here.
